Lowest tide of the year at Bognor

On the 20th of April I went to Bognor to see if the rocks I saw one evening when I was teenager would be uncovered. Some time around the mid nineties I was at Dark Lane beach one afternoon when there was an unusually low tide. I walked out and ended up stepping from rock to rock - closely spaced mudstone rocks that I hadn't known existed, and when I looked down I saw a colony of Spider Crabs in the pools. A storm came in around me and I had never felt so alive! The other evening those rocks resurfaced again, but they don't protrude so far out of the sand now and are no longer a good enough home for those enormous crabs. The actual Bognor Rocks were out too, which run out from the west end of the beach in a curve to a good mile out. It was just increadible to see.
